The customer wanted to get good WiFi coverage in his converted garage, which turned out to be more complicated than first thought. Fibre Broadband came into one side of the house and his WiFi router was located on the other side of the house and all cabling was fixed into the walls so impossible to move or pull additional cables through.
To optimise coverage, I agreed with the customer to relocate the router upstairs and create a central hub in the attic where all extensions could be cabled from. We utilised an existing underground pipe to get internet across to the garage and I installed an access point in the garage and in the living room providing super fast broadband everywhere.
