The customer is a cattle farmer and has used 2 wired calving cameras for a few years connected to a 4G Router and was paying for the SIM card every month. Recently the Vodafone mobile reception had virtually disappeared in his area and he lost connection to the cameras.
I sent WiFi from the farmhouse to the farmyard using directional antennas and connected them into an omni-directional antenna providing WiFi coverage throughout the farmyard. I then installed a WiFi calving camera in their calving shed. The customer can now monitor his cattle via phone & tablet and has no further ongoing fees.
